3D Modeling Portfolio

Baneblade (Warhammer 40,000)

A super heavy tank, the Baneblade is a tank in the Imperial Guard arsenal.

WWII Japanese battleship: Yamato

One of the largest and heaviest battleship ever constructed. This Japanese battleship carried the largest naval artillery ever fitted to any warship, nine 460 mm guns.

750,000 tiangles

The APU - Armored Personnel Unit (The Matrix)

This project is based on "The Matrix" movie. The APU (Armored Personnel Unit) is a mechanical device in charge of defending Zion against sentinels' attacks.

Ibanez Joe Satriani series guitar JS1000

Joe Satriani is an amazing guitar virtuose. I always listen to one of his cds. He has his own signature guitar with Ibanez, the JS Series. I did this electric guitar for my wooden mannequin (God Of Rock competition entry).

I took the model, textured it correctly and created a render looking like a studio photoshoot. Very shiny black, red and blue paints give pretty good results.

God of Rock - Wooden mannequin

This model was created for a competition on 3d-palace.com (november 2006). We had to create a God Of Rock. I decided to create a wooden mannequin with Joe Satriani's guitar (Ibanez, JS series).

All wooden parts are made from the same material. It's a phong shader driven by a Wood texture. Every object has its own texture projection to create different wood grains effect.

H&K MP5-A4

MP5-A4 is a 9mm submachine gun. I created this model based on a lot of reference pictures found on the internet.

10,000 triangles

2000 Honda Civic SiR

The second car model I did. This 2000 Honda Civic SiR is also in the Fast & Furious movie. But, I didn't model a tuning version. Although, I used wheels and tires created for the Mitsubishi Eclipse.

144,000 triangles

Planet Express (Futurama)

Futurama is an animated television series. The Planet Express building is the head office of a delivery service business. This project was quite easy to do because shapes are simple. It was hard to find good reference pictures from all building sides though.

I didn't find any exact blueprints of the building. So, modeling was about average proportions from a lot of reference pictures.

50,000 triangles

Mitsubishi Eclipse (The Fast and The Furious)

This is the first serious project I ever did in 3D. I choose this car because a lot of reference pictures can be found on the internet and it was a good challenge to create decals and all textures. I tinted glasses a lot to hide missing interior.

114,000 triangles

Tire, wheel and caliper

The tire was created from a cylinder. Everything is done with polygon modeling. There is no displacement map, only a bumpmap for tire side wall.
